Two cards leaned together, black and white, no shade,
Ace of Hearts on top like “I’m the star of this parade.”
Jack of Spades peeking out like “Yo, I got jokes too,”
One’s all “I love you,” the other’s “I’m just passing through.”

Ace says “I’m #1, hearts beat for me alone,”
Jack flips his hat, “I’m wild, I’m fun, I’m freelance-grown.”
One’s a soulmate vibe, the other’s “let’s go play,”
Stacked together like mixed signals end of day.

If love’s a card game, babe, we’re off to a weird start,
You deal me Ace of Hearts… but hide Jack Spades in the art.
So do I go all-in soft, or bluff and steal the pot?
Either way I’m keeping both — you’re a lucky hand I got.
