Verbal bickering, so tiresome and old
I'm done with empty promises, I've heard far too much they're told
My actions will always be louder than words ever can be
all these conversations, just like leaves, they shall flee
They think their grandstanding, the truth will just squelch
But like a summer thunder, my actions shall clench
Promises that mean nothing, ones they never can keep
My actions will prevail, I will no longer be meek
Their words try to deceive, like a swindle of tricks
Not fooled by hollow speeches and glossed up lip tricks
I'll stay true to my trust, from deceit I will flee
Actions show me my worth, held in high esteem
My path I shall follow, a decision that's mine
No more shall I ponder, my signals will shine
My courage standing strong, proving a story I've told
Actions that speak loudly, both brave and bold.
