I want to be better.
To walk away from this,
this frustration and anger inside me,
great and big enough to fight a lion,
I struggle to keep it within.
Somedays it boils over,
burning innocent souls who try to care,
Somedays it disappears into the void,
Empty, numb and free the moment feels.
I call this state happiness,
and forget to mention "with assistance"
of a substance that slowly takes, slowly. On this pursuit, of happyness.
Eventually the euphoria clears,
the feeling returns again, to torment me,
And so I begin all over the struggle,
To walk away from this.
