ADDICTION

I'm thinking of you, and the hell you put me through,
Trying to escape, feels like having a massive heartache,
Listening to voices inside of my head,
Knowing that what we had,
Is the reason my souls dead,
Trying to control and stop myself from going back,
Going insane, but the hardest part is letting go,
Just walk away,
then soon the distant memory is all you'll know
But if you look back, you know the temptation takes you right back to it,
Your stressing out and it's usually a means to your end,
It will make the stress leave, and you can let your mind mend,
Now you know that's a cop-out, you know it's a lie
Cuz the stress will be back,
when you're no longer High
It's hard to fight the craving,
especially when you're all alone
Your not quite strong enough,
Not yet, to do it on your own
It makes you feel so weak,
but being an addicted does not mean you are weak
It happens to us all
Weather it be drugs or alcohol
But admitting your an addict,
Hell your stronger than you think
Cause that's the toughest part,
Your no longer a part the weakest link
