AFRICA

BLACK BODY,GREY MATTER
Take hold of my hands,
Embrace me with your warm heart,
You cover my ailing whole with your undying love,
And protect my ailing soul,
From unnecessarily injuries!
Neutral to the eyes,
Well known by the colour blind,
Matches from blood to heart,
Gleaming melanin covering the darkest skin,
The iris that loses one to smile just by a glance,
What a wonderful view?
Strong and bold,
Upright matching that between the ears,
Male regarded head from the family to work,
Women only seen as home keepers,
A conception in the real African home,
So energetic as the dark coal,
Intelligence sandwiches the mind,
The colour of the humble warriors,
A definition of the freedom fighters,
Calming cawing anger like in crow!
Reason with me here,
I am going grey greatly into wisdom,
Hear my voice from that far end,
The black body speaks,
The grey matter judges!
