African Giant

Giant as an Elephant
Strong as a Lion
Black as a charcoal
Green as a Forest
Resilient as a Rubber
But here you are,
Trembling in disdain
Wandering in lust
Searching for tranquility
Bathing in misery
Like a burning magma
Detesting the displeasing aroma of blood
Misled by their sight;
Embraced the conquest of wild flowers
And cutting off their limbs
Raging beasts devour preys
Like vultures party on carcass
Shrouded by agony and despair
And circulating pains of dark new dawn
Like blood flow in the veins
Tattered wings nightingales sang dirge
Despicable,
Blood drinking wild animals
Swift tongues before preys
Becoming beasts of no nation
