After The Dawn

There’s no cause for alarm, you know I needed it just so. Because the water cleanses the soul, maybe next year I’ll climb back onto creative divinity. I allow my brain to comprehend, forever questioning this life before the sun. Spiral outside of my control, forever mine to behold, wisdom is free, it’s how I choose to be. Forever searching the corridors of the mind, what life encompasses me?
What a world that I can see, find my place within to finally be. Someway to become my own hero, I shoot a gun up high, flooding bullets into the sky, as it cracks dawn over my shadow, the one who will always seek validation will be left to defecate out in the hallway, forever lost with no escape, for only he who holds the key can move past the door, no longer the one I used to adore.
I’m left awake at night, feeling that my words are useless. I lie awake always wondering of those left-back in the night. But I forgo the fright, how could I scare when my vision is broken by hindsight? The past shall never last, I forever step into a future, each move forward from the last, not everything will end with a blast.
Am I still here? Because I can’t see clearly. The night comes after dawn, it’s these reasons I continue to wake, I can’t allow this life to end with a mistake. Future dawns before the night, I can’t help the need to say all the things I kept away. Eyes show pain, but from the contributor’s brain, those eyes don’t show the pain. How can one hope to find an escape, when surrounded by so much hate?
The truth is that I’m always foreshadowed, by the lines that separate yesterday from tomorrow. All I can sense is the deathly bellow, and the friction that follows in its wake I’m told, was never a mistake, I’m so far from that corridor with my key. To feel my desires outside of that fire only fuels my pride. From this moment forth, you are no longer my last resort.
