I was never one much for school.
Everything I know is from this life.
Hard lessons learned full of strife.
Some may call me a fool.

This life has taught me it's OK to stumble.
God knows this life has taught me to be humble.
Now I don't care how much money you make.
We all put our pants on the same way.
In this life...
We all experience joy and pain.
For some the Sun can be shining but all we see is rain.
I've been trying to right my wrongs.
Don't believe me listen to my songs.
I want you to know..
My first clear thought after the fall.
Was how I almost lost it all.
I had a new appreciation for life.
I lament how I've lost that along the way.
Oh How I forgot what I learned from that day.
