S

ages of ages

As ages of ages
Just roll on by,
Souls are born
But just as
quickly They
Get old and
Die,
Men of great
status
From a hundred
years Before
No one remembers
Them
They're just a piece
Of forgotten lore,
Buildings of
great architecture
crumble
And fall into
Disrepair,
As time goes on
It's just an
empty Field
It's as if
they We're
never Even
there,
As the clock
Slowly ticks
Tears fall from
My eyes,
I Know that soon
It will be me that
Says goodbye,
after ages and
ages
My stone will
Fade away
Lost and
Forgotten
Another soul
Left in dismay.
