Ain't My Home

glories submerged in a winter hole
suburban of our lives shredded in tears
I have no place here to lay my head
a glass of wine can do for a moment or two
But this was never our home
The bird of eastern coast lost its tweet
no song to sing nor melody to feel
No joy of morning and chirps of evening
a climb a day or two can do for awhile
But this was never my side of the sky
A deer has lost its thirst and gone astray
no peace to rain on a draught nation of his
it was where he started out to end so soon
a run twice a day can do for a thrive
But this was never mearnt to be my end
