All im asking

(based on a true story) A five-year-old girl shouldn't have to question her mother, wheres her deadbeat father? but I was younger than that when I question my own self that. A daughter shouldn't have to think to herself that she wasn't good enough for her father to just walk away when she was only just 0 months old, and it turns out that I am that girl. I was that girl that was punched inside her sweet mother's womb because of my abusive father. I was that girl that cried herself to sleep on a night of my 12th birthday in bed with Mama by her side because her father lied to her saying he would be there for her but he never showed up. I was that girl that cried inside at school every Father's Day because everyone would make cards to their lovely Daddy's while she sat there with a blank paper wishing she could at least thank him. I was that girl that couldn't bear to say I love you back in the eyes of her untrustable father. 12 years past and he still ain't even here to at least hug me close and let me know it's going to be okay. he even moved on and married a whole different woman and have children that he be there for more than me. even though I was his first Blood daughter, I still don't matter to him. instead, to cover up everything, he tries to buy me things and tries to win my heart like it's a competition to win money. so Dad, I'm not for sale. instead I am a human crying out to give you a second chance to be my father you should have been. I just at least want to trust you and love you but you have to apologize and step up and be a real man I can look up to... that's all I'm asking father.
