All marked up..

She lived a life of sadness,
In this big house of recklessness
Her parents never really loved her and kept her with sitters all.the time.
Above this house the sun never shines.
The sitter's didn't really care what she did.
Most of the times she was up in her room, that's where she hid.
She was one lonely girl, who grew up fast.
Everything she suffered today, was because of her past.
She didn't have any parents to guide her in life.
Because they were barely home, she started marking up her arms with a knife.
The scars never left her and she lives with them today.
All marked up, but she is finally okay.
She got the nerve to stand up and say how she feels.
They looked her in the eyes like is this for real?
Yes, she had a roof over her head and food to eat.
But where was the love of her parents, most of the times they treat her like a freak.
It's okay to have a good life,
But it's not worth the sorrowful strife.
It's a very lonely, cruel world, and with no parents love, a piece of you dies.
With all these tears you cry,
It's so sad to say goodbye.
