it was hot
the sun scorched
it was dry in my throat
the water in my porch
was just a sip to over
i just needed to cross over
to the other side of of the jungle
my feet weary
could rarely carry me
the sun was scary
I needed a savior to care me
all he said was "don't give up yet , I've a mansion for you over"
i cried, take me father
or rather I'd never reach the 'other'
the scene changed
now i was caged
the board i could see written were
the lines of 1's for the days i had
been caged,
a youth i was,all with the aged
for me it was a chance to gain the wisdom
from their bald and white hair
i had to forget the pain and embrace the change
to not feel the chains.
slowly i heard some steps
a lowly voice said,"In wisdom there is freedom."
then darkness fell upon
i had to carry this on
