AllAlone

All Alone
His back is against
the concrete wall,
His spirit is gone
and he cannot even crawl,
He arduously coughs
all the loneliness out,
Smoking mirrors
and haunted thoughts,
He was naive when he
married the streets as a lost teen,
It’s safe to say that his soul
was egregiously bought,
Opened his blind eyes
and started seeing,
Started believing
and mischievously achieving,
Wearing 33 different masks
good and evil grasping happy and sad,
His thoughts began
panicking and screaming,
He got deep in it
started plotting and scheming,
Voices racing and he started
numbing his minds demons,
He began to spill his blank pain
upon any and all blank pages,
Planned his escape
tainted by absolute desperation,
His spoken words consisted
of cussing and eternal bleeding,
He prays but thinks even God
can’t save him or see him,
It was too little too late
six feet down deep in the ground now,
Embraced his cardboard casket
sealed with his duct tape fate,
Lost in the bitter cold world
he died the way he lived…
ALL ALONE
