Almost a lost love
One day a man met a woman
Instantly they liked each other
They began dating soon after
After time became faithful lovers
He was infatuated with her
She was completely beautiful
He was tall with dark wavy hair
She thought he was suitable
Things went great for ten years
They had three lovely children
Together with their dog, so happy
But one day she began thinking
She thought 'there must be more'
Thinking ' our family is so great'
'But I feel something is missing'
'I need to get away before I fade'
In bed later that night, she explained
She told her husband she's not happy
He was calm, but hurt, yet understood
He agreed she must get away, but sadly
The following week she had departed
Leaving for her sisters to figure it out
Two of younger kids began screaming
The oldest was upset but did not shout
The wife had now gone, the kids calmer
It happened and now they must go on
The wife called one day three weeks later
Said "You'll never guess what I tripped upon"
The husband glad to hear from her sighed
She then yelled in the phone "we're rich!"
The man replied what do you mean?
She then said at my sisters by the ditch
We found a box with our father's initials
It was locked, but managed to open it
Inside, was money, diamonds and gold
My sister and I have now decided to split
I will be home very soon, in a couple days
The husband relieved and now feels happy
He told the kids and they began dancing
One child yelled now were not cranky
The mother returned home soon after
They had the gold and diamonds sold
They spent that evening celebrating
The wife pulled her husband to hold
She then stated this is what was calling
My father wanted us to have this
He was trying to speak to me from heaven
The man smiled, give a hug, and a soft kiss
