A

Alone

People flocked a path so thick
Million times, I trampled on someone's feet
None but a needle could pass through
This crowd in a world so true.
Amidst them was I, placed by Him
Strangers came and passed me by
But I alone can't go with, why?
A left alone amongst the crowd!
Good bidders came as time have had
Yet sorrows fall in my poor heart
Alas! I, wondering much,
Hath God forsaken I, an ill fated lad?
'Till now, cease not do I, asking God I never knew
For what purpose am I here?
In this splendid isolation I can't bear,
Amidst the silence of noisy crowd to hear?
Oh God! Almighty King! Author of all Earth!
Grant my pleas to thee, oh please!
Yet, may Thy will should come at hand,
And do to me, all that Ye planned.
