ALTRUISM OF LOVE

Before I'm torn asunder by
The sword of loneliness piercing through my
Broken heart and I'm bleeding out
Light and life, with death like numbness,
Underneath my skin, slides in darkness,
Before it nests a home in my soul
Before I again lose myself to me
Wrap me with our love and help me see
A better and brighter tomorrow
And I shall be happiness in your sorrow.
In my final practice, I confessed
And you deboarded your train to share
Your life with me but I erased
Every single word when I found in your eyes
The fire I never had, the burning fuel
Of chasing the dream you drew in every sleep
And in every daydream. Not enough selfishness
I possessed to ask you to douse the flames
Or cut off your wings so I spoke
The other half of truth, but stainless.
Run and fly to build your own wonderland
While I seek in my mind, picture of my paradise
For more than I hate your departure
I love the smile dancing on your lips
And its reflection on every piece of you.
My love shall never restraint or distract you
So I tossed it in the door-less walls of my heart
And only by your touch will the walls collapse.
