Deep into far horizon,my mind saw a stranger
from the city's beautiful meanders, silently she stood
The moon shone bright, it's delicate light turned to silver flame,
It was a pleasure to see her flowing, moon's shadow-black hair over her shoulder
The hills were quiet,to witness this unfolding history
She stood under a palash tree
Her comely figure which was stem-thin,
Her crescent shaped eyebrows inclined slightly towards me as she saw me staring at her
she smiled at me, her luminous heavenly white teeth light up the tree
I loved her nebulous, Eden-green eyes which were a-sparkle with the ‘joie de vivre’.
It was love at first sight, her elegant personality all mesmerised me
she whispered to me in a dulcet voice
as sweet as any song bird could give
I yelped at being caught. Her languid eyelashes of velvet-black blinked once slowly, as if to invite me closer
When I came closer, I noticed her scrolled ears and her elegant nose. She nuzzled me with her nose and I couldn’t believe it.
my alarm ring to my routine time,
An aroma of cinnamon and meadow-fresh mint lingered in my mind long after she left
I wondered was that a jini or my far dream love.
