Stranded in my heart
At the end of each day
Am I worth it?
Drinking the precious water
Which is equivalent to the blood of Earth
Whenever I want
Am I worth it?
Breathing in and out
The fresh air
From the atmosphere
Am I worth it?
Eating mouth watering food
Produced by some unknown farmer
Putting his heart and soul
Am I worth it?
Using the resources
Metals and minerals from the mines
From some distant land
Am I worth it?
Getting peaceful sleep
Without scary nightmares
Or without any worries
Am I worth it?
And more than this
Living on this beautiful planet
And adding some mass to it
Am I worth it?
Stands this question
Deep in my heart
Like a boulder
Placed on my thoughts
