If I don’t talk to you,
Am just a person of few words.
Don’t think am self-centered,
If I don’t give away my things,
Am just a hoarder.
Don’t think am lonely,
If you find me alone,
Am just attracted to silence.
Don’t think am foolish,
If I don’t argue,
Am just a sucker for peace.
Don’t think am fine,
If I don’t cry,
Am just robust.
Don’t think am shy,
If I don’t look at you,
Am just not into you.
Don’t think I don’t respect you,
If I don’t say hello,
I just don’t know how to.
Don’t think I don’t remember you,
If I walk past you,
Am just afraid you forgot about me.
Don’t think I don’t love you,
If I don’t tell you every time,
I prefer to show you.
Don’t think am rude.
Never think am rude.
I know am flawed but,
Am just a human.
Am no Messiah.
Am not perfect.
