America, America!
America of ancient prophecies;
America of Columbus and Vespucci;
Allow me sing of thee
America of dreams and dreamers....
Though not with the succinctness
Of all those eloquence hymns
I heard them...chanted of thee:
As the grandest, ...the largest
And the last empire for all times....
America, America!
The civilized King of powers,
The concealing heart of all cultures
That Alexander restlessly dreamt of
But waived to thee....
I join those chorus of songs
Not out of shared love
Of thy alluring and tempting beauty,
That is of both love and hate;
for thy enemies and friends alike...
But because of thy overriding virtues
over common vices;
....the only city of this world..
Because thy acts the true vision of the Fathers
Than your unstable rivals..
