Dark nights- fatigued eyelids closed in deep
slumber,
The dim lights mellow glow
And a multitude of scintillating fireflies
Outside the window panes
Sprinkle soft light,
On his face-serene and reposeful.
My unglossy lips broaden into an assuaged
smile,
Gazing at the man I love.
His intoxicating body redolance
Gliding across the two centimetres of distance
Between our bony flesh frames,
To ingress into my olfactory nerves.
Ah! That aroma so beguiling!!
I dive deep again, into his sea of incessant love,
Not for once, yearning it's shores,
Imbruing myself in streams of love-so red.
Harrowing bygone memories flaunt before me,
"Can love happen twice?" I query myself.
Affirmative, answers my heart.
For there I lay, drenched in love,
Avowing to love him till my body is ash.
I search for a million forevers in his eyes,
And vivid hues of rapture to paint our skies.
"Saturated I'll stay in your shadows always",
I whisper into his sleeping ears.
And retire to an alluring trance,
Planting an ardent kiss on his placid face.
An Abundance of love, I comprehend,
Will lull me to a happy slumber.
