I've heard of a race
Echoing deep within a restless soul,
A race with millions,
You and I were not less a participant.
A thought compels me to befriend self
Desseminate fantasies and be realist.
I've known of many an acquaintance;
Friends, comrade, they vouchsafe to define thus,
But won't for a rememberance 'PAUSE.'
To stay within, I've come and I'm dead?
Is ones welcome another's cremation?
Few ashes of memory, bleak like a distorted epitaph
And no more than a love of a surrogate mother,
can friendship be defined so? TELL ME!
I have come a long way,a destitute
Seeking for his other 'SELF', not inborn.
Noble dreams in fantasies remain unuttered
Like deceiving mirage and tales of limbo,
Into that land,I plead my cause- REDEEM ME! oh Redeemer.
A saviour came not, but a mentor sought me.
It was your song,a song of friendship
That taught me facts- be true,be real,be a lion, also be a sheep.
This, with a clear vision shall I resume the race.
A charism inculcated by you, forever will in me burn,
Burn and burn till it's CONSUMMATED.
