Would I morn you?
Would I miss your voice?
Would I cry if you died tomorrow?
And if I did none of those things, would it be I who was wrong?
I can't remember the last time you held me, I can't remember the last time you loved me. All you do is poison your body, drinking away what's left of your mind, how could you be a person? Let alone a father?
How could you be one to love? Let alone one to be loved?
You were supposed to raise me? You were supposed to guide me and teach me, And...
in the end I guess you did.
Twenty three long years of watching you, and I learn what not to do in life. So if you died, I wouldn't be surprised. But the question is, would I cry?
I believe so,
but don't misunderstand me, it's not you I'll cry for. But the idea of you.
What little girl doesn't want a father? What little girl doesn't want that hero she calls dad?
No, I won't miss you, and I won't morn you. But I'll miss what you could have been.
And you?
You've already missed everything.
