Anchor?
I asked how to weather a storm with a broken ship,
not realizing I was the ship
and now there’s someone new on board.
If I can find the courage to anchor, even while I’m breaking,
then she won’t have to fix what someone else destroyed.
Or maybe she drops the anchor for me…
but I don’t know if love should feel like asking someone else
to hold me still.
