I was taking a walk with my daughters, her friend and her son.
He was not more then the age of one.
My daughter was pushing the baby carriage and almost bumped into a food cart.
She told her friend to move it over, so she put it on the side of someone's yard.
The man was yelling from a far,
He was angry, but the cart was not ours.
So we yelled back
Because we felt attacked.
The ignorance of this man
Didn't he understand,
We were just like him at that moment yelling back.
My other daughter felt afraid for the baby because we don't know if he will bodily attack.
This does not give the man a right to verbally abuse us with words.
We did feel hurt,
We were women and a child
How dare you attack us with words, and become a freak in the wild.
Yes I was wrong to fight back but I ain't gonna stand there and be silently mute.
You were violently attacking us and that was so rude.
Next time maybe come over to us and explain what we did wrong to you.
Instead of using fierce words, maybe talk nicely and we can see you through.
