Another casket on my shoulder, can't escape the weight,
Darkness surrounds me, it's a never-ending chase,
Losing loved ones, just like leaves on the trees
Each funeral another reminder, my soul begins to bleed.
Pain runs deep, like the rivers flowing within,
The weight of the world, it's a burden I can't win,
Funerals become routine, sorrow my only friend,
Never knowing when it will end, it feels like it won't mend.
Another casket on my shoulder, another soul laid to rest,
Darkness consumes my being, can't escape this endless test,
Tears stain my face, as I carry the weight,
Another casket on my shoulder, my heart's bound to break.
Living in a nightmare, where death is always near,
Grim reaper at my door, filled with endless fear,
Memories of laughter and love, now shrouded in despair,
Another life lost, another person ii soul no longer here
Blinded by the darkness, I stumble through the night,
Whispers of the departed, haunt every sight,
Grieving becomes my norm, grief becomes my creed,
Another casket on my shoulder, this pain I cannot concede.
Another casket on my shoulder, another soul laid to rest,
Darkness consumes my being, can't escape this endless test,
Tears stain my face, as I carry the weight,
Another casket on my shoulder, my heart's bound to break.
Gone but not forgotten, their memories forever cling,
Carrying their spirits, my soul begins to sing,
In the depths of this agony, I find my strength,
Through every loss, a reminder of life's eventual length.
Haunted by the shadows, as life continues to unravel,
With another casket on my shoulder, my spirit starts to travel,
Through the pain and sorrow, I'll keep pushing on,
Honoring the fallen, until my soul is gone.
Death's grip may tighten, but I won't let it win,
Despite the agony, I'll find solace within,
Another casket on my shoulder, a lesson to be learned,
To cherish every moment, before it's my turn.
Another casket on my shoulder, another soul laid to rest,
Darkness consumes my being, can't escape this endless test,
Tears stain my face, as I carry the weight,
Another casket on my shoulder, my heart's bound to break.
In this world of grief, I'll keep standing tall,
Shoulders carrying caskets, as I watch others fall,
But within the sorrow, I'll find the strength to endure,
Another casket on my shoulder, forever I'll secure.
