Mother, daughter, side by side.
Together they are here for the long drive.
Sticking with each other through thick and thin.
Another journey nobody wins.
The battles that they surpass,
Another night they may last.
Strengthened by their pity of love.
Maybe this ride was more then enough.
When she was younger, she never understood why her mother is this way.
Now that she is older, another night she doesn't want to stay.
