Another reason to let go
Reminding me to stay occupied
Instead of wallowing so
A warm welcome for your companion
At the meeting of family and friends
I envision the smiles in unison
While fate sneers at me contempt
Oh, woe is me, just let me sulk!
The green-eyed monster resurfaces
The weekend can't end soon enough
And neither can those smiling faces
