Whatever brought them together,
tore them apart, forever.
Everyone that saw them as a couple could not believe they would ever part.
They had each others heart.
One big lie, to another was unjustified.
Who was he really with on that cold dark night.
Before she said goodbye, at least she tried.
She just needed him to tell her the truth.
The other woman, he did choose.
Now going down this road alone, scares her like hell.
She always had his shoulder to lean on and his advice to tell.
She can do it, but at a much slower pace.
Just at the end of her journey, there won't be anyones embrace.
