A trip to the backyard
Where we often go
My friend and I came across
A spider , what do you know?
A harvest spider he says
That is what it's called
The arachnid was resting
Just alongside the fence wall
A very strange creature
When you are up close
I know they look scary and
Some say they are gross
We both took some photos of
Different angles and light
I wonder if the spider knows
He gives many a bad fright
We let him be and left
His only wish is peace
He is nature's creation and
Not some sort of beast
