Another sunset

I cannot for the life of day
see those flowers in the morning haze
Nor grasp the wind by its tail
As it bends the earth's display
Nor can I list those cloaks of gray
that are lighter then the waves of grain
To allow the friendly Ray's the sun emits
To enter my heart's door, a soul to knit
Oh, how my joy has long since slept
As I walk these hollow halls of regret
To feel the sadness each year that's wept
For brighter tomorrow, another sunset
