Several years ago, I dislike leadership.
I never understood why
Simply because I felt
Leaders were power greed
I felt they were harsh people
With bad character
I felt leadership required excess politics
And politics, I hated it so much
Not knowing that my understanding
Was being compromised
I often refuse the call of leadership
Suddenly, I met a man
I encountered his style of leadership
Then, I wonder
Why was his leadership style so different
How is him a leader?
And he's not even an excess politician
Why is him leading instead of ruling?
I became to ask
Why is this man so different?
Religiously, socially, environmentally, etc
All seem so impossible to me
Still doubting, questioning people about him
I became to investigate
After many months
All of a sudden, something happen
I became interested in leadership
I became to research leadership
Every search I did, he was my case study.
By then, he was Rev. John D. Monger
By his example and leadership style
I became more interested in leadership
By his example
I learnt about a true leader
Not just one purported politician
Leaders are born and nurture
Leaders aren't made from just nothing
Leaders aren't people who misuses authority
Apostle Dr. John D. Monger, a true leader
He inspire
He lead up rightly
He produces samples of himself
He shepherd many flocks
From grass to grace he was elevated
Not by his own strength but by God's grace
A true leader is who he is
Through him I am learning
He is a father to many
He's remain a true example of leader.
And not an excess politician-made leader
