As the birds slept and the sky's darkened
I realised they had become familial
They thought I was like them
Even when they never wanted me near them
They praised me as they laughed behind my back
Talked about my failures like it was rewarding
They called me names I was never baptized before
Used my words against me
My depression worsened
The drugs became sweater
But I loved them the more
Reminded them of it everyday
In my eyes I saw fools
As they saw wisdom in their ignorance
It became apparent that the lion needed to be awakened
The journey had started some where going
And others where going to stay at the bus stop
I had known those I want by being the fool!
