Sitting out in the dark
Flick my lighter to spark,
A special cigarette to embark,
Away on a trip where,
I may meet an Aardvark
Listening to some dogs
Maybe barking at a wild fox
The pets should be asleep sawing logs
And be rested for morning
In case someone knocks
Sirens heard in the night
In the background out of sight
Creatures crawling in grass to my right
A bird is singing saying
Wake up, soon it will be light
