Armyworm

I was outside sitting the other night

And little did I realize what was on me

When I came inside something moved

It was a caterpillar type creature I seen

It's an armyworm

Look at it squirm

I think it's trying to turn

I will move it away from me

And I hope it doesn't return

It fell and landed on the kitchen table

I watched it crawl and slither away

And thought it would be good to photo

I snapped it's picture without delay

After using my google lens app quick

It read that it was an armyworm bug

A friend said that they are not good

Damaging crops and not good luck

It's an armyworm

I read about it a bit of what was shown

It lays eggs and they hatch and feed

Destroying plants and greenery around

It left, maybe it no longer had a need
