Arrogance and vanity, oh how they shine.
Blinding the eyes, leaving reason behind.
Ego inflated, pride on full display, Masking insecurity in every way.
The need for attention, the thirst for praise,
A shallow existence, a life in a daze,
Devoid of humility, lacking in grace, Ignoring others, never letting them have a place.
The world revolves around them, or so they believe,
Their truth is the only truth, they never conceive.
That arrogance and vanity, lead to a lonely fate.
A life without love, a life too late.
Arrogance, a vice so dear
A foolish pride, we hold so near
A mind inflated, ego high
A mask to wear, a constant lie
Vanity, a plague so vile
A self-obsession, a wicked style
A mirror's gaze, a constant need
A shallow soul, a sowing seed
Together, they form a deadly pair
A recipe for disaster, a life unfair
Forgetting all, the ones around
Lost in self, a heart unsound.
Arrogance and vanity, a poison on display.
A deadly pair
A curse that we all must beware.
