As a black race we have gone through a lot
From being divided to exploitation
From exploitation to slavery
From slavery to colonialism
From colonialism to racism
But I guess racism was and is there all along
But when we finally thought we were free they hit as with neo-colonialism
Only for as to hate our self more with tribalism and colourism
This piece wasn't meant to dumping your spirit
It was meant to tell you black queens and kings never to lose hope for they is a rainbow after every rain
