As I wait by the window
Of hope full , the moon full
The thought of you
Shivers down my emaciated form
Not knowing where you will come from
The creak of the rusty gate whispers terror
The swaying trees mock me
I will wait , a minute delay
The loneliness consumed my joy
Left lifeless as a toy
Its been years since you went away
What we had , thrown away
Couldn't say yes opted for nay
Someday things might be okay
A minute I would rather delay
Answer my distress calls
From beneath the waterfalls
Can I see you in my dreams
It what it seems
Feel that which is seen
Worried I have been
A rock and a hard place , in between
Either way I can't win
Safely offshore can I swim
My eyes wet with tears
Heart dark of fears
Come back soon
Dawn , dusk even noon
