As sudden as it was
lucid dreams of the awake
both dark and light
lost from the frozen eyes
beneath the dying hearts
All rendered speechless
dual left spartan
watched the end of humanity
uncovered and lonely
Deprived of help
Hands in pockets passing
and minds in wreck
what's best for us
to look up and curse ourselves?
