I

At night

At night
the moon roams about on the sky
like a snail carrying it shell about
if one runs it runs and stays while above
Rat jumps for joy and merry
it has added another day to life
crabs honking out of it hole
At night
I can hear cool breeze tranquil
under the tree where
we are all gathered
sitting forming a circle
all straining ear to enjoy tales from the moonlight
perhaps tortoise has committed a new mischief
that which he is known for
At night
the red eyes man takes advantage of darkness
he craves it indulgence to profligate
for no one dares to do evil at daybreak
at night
the city remain taciturn
till the moon walks away silently
and paves way for another morning
