It's around twenty after seven
The sun is getting ready to set
Crickets are quite loud tonight
Probably wouldn't make good pets
Some people are playing baseball
Over across the lake in the park
Ping! Goes the aluminum bat
There's lights in case it gets dark
A car starts and then drives away
Into the traffic as enters the road
A destination is the objective
It disappears, vanishing as it goes
Today it is nice and comfortable
It's not too hot nor is it too cold
With a calm breeze it feels great
Good for my tired and weary bones
Sleeping should be very enjoyable
Tonight the temperature is cooler
Great for sawing logs or resting
Enjoy, the nice days are getting fewer
