You were like a mother
You were love and grace
Elder sister of my mother
You deserve all the praise
Beautiful inside and out
In my heart there is no doubt
You lived to make a difference
And gave everyone a chance
You spoke with such conviction
Your generosity had no restriction
You tailored our lives together
Stitch by stitch till you're done
Coz you yourself was a mother
And took all of us as your own
I fondly remember you my aunt
You never needed any reason
You would always understand
And come through once again
Your heart was home to us all
All we ever had to do was call
You traded the physicality
With the peace of eternity
Each day we miss you here
Your memory we still hold dear
At least you're safe at Home
With the family and mom
And when I gaze upon the stars
I know you're looking down on us
At times tears still fill my eyes
