The nights have became cooler
The days have become shorter
Soon leaves will change colour
Before we know, it'll be winter
The winds become cooler too
Time to put on a light jacket
A comfortable sweater is good
Nights, you may need a blanket
Halloween is the fall season treat
Kids dress up and gather candy
Some adults will throw a party
With music and lights and dancing
Fall or autumn, it's such a great season
That they gave it two separate names
A winding down time for many things
A time for reflection and maybe change
