AWAKENING.
"You there, who sleep,
it is time for you to wake up.
You who only wish to observe, never to react,
You from whom life has drained everything: love, hopes, dreams, and so much more.
It is time for you to take yourself in hand.
Time for you to seize, with your own hands,
Everything that was taken from you.
For this, sleep is not on the agenda.
You who drown yourself in the darkest vices,
A time will come when regret will fill your heart.
You, then, who could not resist carnal desires,
Your decline… no! Your end is near.
For in the abyss of the depths
You will find yourself sooner or later.
Repentance is the cure,
Yours at least.
For fear of being judged too harshly,
I withdraw,
Yet not without pleading with you
For a true introspection.
And I can only pray
That this alone will be enough to rediscover,
Or at least guide, your wandering souls,
Or even to purify your corrupted hearts,
Perhaps even stained
With the darkest mark ."
