I remember a time I had to reuse one teabag 3 times, we could only afford one full 10 pack at age 10,We also had to eat bread Monday to Monday because grocery wasn't part of our household plan, but Sundays mom always made a plan cooking food for the entire fam.
I remember going to school but hating every minute there, I had no friends because I wasn't cool like that, throwing stones on the front porch of class was all I ever had, until this craze Lil dude shared his lunchbox with me I'd never forget that angelic act, 20 years later we still brothers like that.
I remember how step dad had to be dad to a son he never had raise this little confused shy kid to be the man his step dad is today now that's what I call my real dad, and even when he acted tough knowing that his hustle could only reach a certain degree of help for the entire fam, I could hear his tears banging on the floor when he had it rough.
But that's just me.. My fam and how life was for us before it got better when I became a teen.
