I sit here day by day
Wondering when itll end.
This deadly and steady feeling.
And they wonder why I am, the way I am.
Quiet and resevered.
If only I could scoop out my mind
But I think they would be disturbed.
I talk to those who listen.
And theyre only a few.
Some think I need god,
So they sit me in a pew.
Thinking more of what they want for me
Instead of what I need.
Stuck in the middle.
My life is a book, only I seem to read.
Its pages are dirty and torn
Some parts scribbled, the other have worn.
Talking to my friends help,
But shortly after im back to nothing.
A dark hallway that I stare down,
So I take a bath, and in my head I drown.
They could never understand.
Never.
No matter what they say
The light sure is nice,
But I like the night more than the day.
Splitting open scars for the pain
Watching the blood drip.
In my head I deserve it,
In my heart, I trip.
I dont know how much longer this will last.
Or if on life, I should forever fast.
Its the things I cant change that bother me the most.
Bacteria is inside and fatal to its host.
