Be Present in an absence

Truly the fact that you have a picture of you and your future is more than I had and my mother was in the "picture"!!
Absence of a parent could go both ways but my brother no one individual is to blame.
You heard the saying "a glass half full" it's all in the EXPECTING cause someone poured something into you, honestly consider the source when judging an absence I knew my father from my mother's rantings!!
Your just like.....or random looks bordered by hatred and then there I am SLAMMED again for his sins gee would have been nice to make my own choice on how I feel towards him instead of throwing up all that I was told, building my own anger against him not because of "Her" but because of "Her" so if any advice I can give is
1. Give him truth and only the truth. Lies are a easily seen thru.
2. Be the man you know that you are! Don't try to compensate a loss or apologize uncontrollably he knows when guilt is speaking.
3. You are his Father his HERO! Nothing and no one can change that...but you!!
4. Don't stop talking about his first mom nor his second, let him know what and why he reminds you of this or that.
So if your wondering how I turned out.. Well let's just say I'm a happily married woman with 5 kids and a zillion grandkids lol in the end all is well.
