I've seen her around
Standing in the darkest corners
She didn't want to be seen
Nobody wanted to be her friend
She was shoved and pushed alot
And I just stood and watched
She needed someone
But no one was there
As I look at her now
Lying there on the cold tiled floor
Of the girls' bathroom
I wonder
Maybe I should have asked her to be my friend
Maybe I was the one friend she needed
And maybe she wouldn't have hated herself so much
Enough to deem herself unworthy of life
I made a mistake
I lost my chance
But you still have one
Befriend her, befriend him
You never know
You might just be saving a life
Everyone has problems in there lives
But you don't have to face them all on your own
Sometimes all you need is a friend
To point to the rainbow
When all you see is a rainy day
