The world doesn't always give back what you put in
It doesn't always matter how nice you have been
Doing for others before yourself doesn't always mean karma will come with good face
Sometimes no matter what you do all you get back is just plain bad news
Sometimes you're meant to do nothing but struggle
And you're given way more than you can handle
When life is like this for years at a time
It would be easy to just give up and die
But when you don't let it change you no matter how hard it tries
And you've practically have lost everything even your pride
When your family looks at you with such disgust
Because they don't believe it's not always you who has caused such a muss
Just remember to be you and do what you must
For in the end when they have their eyes hung in shame
You'll still be who you were and move on the same
Never throwing in their face the hell they put you through or the lack of trust that wasn't even due
